For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Raska Interiors acts as a Data Fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this Policy. You are referred to as the Data Principal.

2. Data We Collect

Information you give us

• Name, email address and phone number
• Billing address and delivery address
• Order details, product preferences and wishlist items
• Account login credentials, where you create an account
• Correspondence with us, including support queries and feedback
• Information you provide for bespoke or made-to-order enquiries, such as room dimensions or material preferences

Information collected automatically

• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Browser type, device type, operating system and screen size
• Pages viewed, time spent, referring URL and exit pages
• Cookie identifiers and session data

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your full card number, CVV or banking credentials. These are captured and processed directly by our payment gateway partner and never reach our servers.

3. Why We Process It

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Consent & Legal Basis

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you place an order, create an account, submit an enquiry form or subscribe to our communications.

Where processing is necessary to perform our contract with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or for a legitimate use permitted under applicable law, we may process data on that basis.

Your consent is sought in clear terms at the point of collection, and is limited to the purposes set out in this Policy.

5. Who We Share It With

We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with parties who are bound to use it solely to perform their service for us:

• Payment gateway providers, to process your transaction securely
• Logistics and delivery partners, to deliver and install your order
• Hosting and IT service providers, who maintain the website and its infrastructure
• Analytics providers, to understand how the site is used
• Communication providers, for transactional email and SMS
• Professional advisers, such as accountants and auditors, where required

We may disclose personal data where required by law, by a court order, or by a government or regulatory authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them for the following purposes:

• Strictly necessary: to keep your cart, session and login working. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site
• Functional: to remember preferences such as your wishlist and recently viewed products
• Analytics: to measure traffic and understand which pages are useful
• Marketing: where enabled, to measure campaign performance and show relevant advertising

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent parts of the site, including checkout, from functioning correctly.

7. Payment Data

All payments are processed through a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway. When you pay, your card or banking details are transmitted directly to that provider over an encrypted connection.

We receive only a transaction reference, the payment status, the amount and the last four digits of the instrument where applicable. We never have access to your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking credentials.

The payment provider processes your data under its own privacy policy, which we recommend you review.

8. How Long We Keep It

• Order and invoice records: retained for the period required under applicable tax, accounting and company law
• Account data: retained while your account is active, and deleted on request subject to any legal retention requirement
• Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent
• Support correspondence: retained for a reasonable period after the query is resolved
• Analytics data: retained in aggregated or de-identified form

Where personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and no legal requirement to retain it applies, we erase it.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Completion and updating of your data
• Erasure of your personal data, where retention is no longer necessary and no legal obligation requires us to keep it
• Grievance redressal through the channel set out below
• Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@raskagroup.com from the email address associated with your account or order. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and will respond within a reasonable period.

10. Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw your consent to processing at any time by writing to info@raskagroup.com, or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

Withdrawal takes effect prospectively and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Where consent is necessary to provide a service, such as fulfilling an order, withdrawal may mean we can no longer provide that service.

11. Children's Data

This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of any individual below the age of 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.

We do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at info@raskagroup.com and we will take steps to delete it.

12. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data, including:

• SSL/TLS encryption across the website
• Access controls limiting internal access to those who need it
• Secure, access-restricted hosting infrastructure

• Use of PCI-DSS compliant payment providers

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.

13. Data Breach

In the event of a personal data breach, we will intimate the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals in the manner and within the timelines prescribed under applicable law, and will take reasonable steps to contain the breach and prevent recurrence.

14. Transfers Outside India

Some of our service providers, including hosting, analytics and communication providers, may process data on servers located outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, we do so in accordance with applicable law and subject to any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

15. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before sharing any personal data with them.

16. Marketing Communication

We send marketing communication only where you have opted in. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out of SMS or WhatsApp communication by replying as instructed or writing to us.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages relating to an order you have placed, such as order confirmations and delivery updates.
